The Cedars Care Home is in the village of Landford, 10 miles from Salisbury on the edge of the New Forest National Park.

At The Cedars, we also provide specialist dementia care for individuals on different stages of their dementia journey. Respite care is also available for those requiring shorter stays. Our person-centred approach allows us to really get to know the residents and understand what’s right for them. We encourage loved ones to get involved and give feedback so that we can provide the best services possible.
Furthermore, at The Cedars, each unit features two living rooms, and residents can choose between the traditional features of Old Cedars and the more modern style of the new wing for their bedroom. We also have woodlands, ornate gardens and raised beds, which are perfect for fresh air and socialising.
Moreover, our activities coordinators plan a wide range of activities for each day of the week; from picnics in the New Forest and pub lunches to dancing and live entertainment. Residents vote on what they would like to do in monthly activity meetings. They also make comments in their satisfaction surveys, so that staff can be sure everyone’s enjoying the activities.
Additionally, all of our food is made from the best fresh produce and cooked to the highest quality. A great deal of care is taken to accommodate all dietary requirements,as our meals are always prepared with the likes and dislikes of residents taken into consideration.
