The Limes is situated just a few minutes walk from Stratford-Upon-Avon’s town centre. The Limes is part of a community, with local services, shops and excellent public transport all within easy reach.
The home offers respite care, short stays and long term care for older people living with dementia. Designed as two households, each household has a living area with a lounge, dining area and kitchenette, where people can make their own snacks and drinks, and staff will always be on hand to prepare hot refreshments if requested. Daily life revolves around the living areas where residents meet to socialise and join in with exercise classes and activities.
As part of our activity provision, WCS Care employs dedicated Community Musicians who deliver one-to-one or group music-based activities. And our Memory Maker minibus provides regular, local trips for residents, including those who need to use a wheelchair. We invite relatives to join our trips so families can make new memories together. The conservatory at the home’s entrance opens up into the garden, which is maintained by staff and residents, and attracts local wildlife such as squirrels and muntjac deer. The home also uses night-time acoustic monitoring to improve the health and wellbeing of the people living with us. If you’re thinking about making The Limes your new home, please get in touch to arrange a tour – like any new home, you’ll only know if it’s right for you when you walk through the front door.
