Westbourne Care Home has been caring for older people for over 30 years. It has been described by our residents as a ‘home from home’.
It is set in a quiet garden within walking distance of Robinswood Hill and St Barnabus Church in Gloucester.
Westbourne Care Home is a small family run group of care homes. We believe in highlighting person centred care and treating residents, visitors and staff as individuals with dignity and respect.
We have 35 bedrooms, most of which have views of the level access gardens. Our four light and airy communal spaces host a variety of activities and events. Many of which also involve our fabulous home cooked food.
Activities and well-being are important at Westbourne. People have the chance to try new things and take part in activities they enjoy. Activities are personalised to the resident’s interest and abilities and may be in a group or one-to-one. There is a full range of activities on offer including exercise programmes, reminiscence activities, card games, bingo, quizzes, trips, and other events and we also have great links with the community outside.
