Yew Tree Cottage Residential Home is a small independently family run care home. It is registered to take up to 7 residents with or without dementia and varying degrees of physical/sensory dependency.
Yew Tree Cottage has a secure relaxed homely atmosphere. It provides a high standard of holistic care, above all, always treating people as individuals. We remember that Yew Tree Cottage is the ‘Residents home’ and we always treat them with the utmost dignity and respect. One of our key strengths is that we are a small organisation, wherein we provide a highly individualised service. It is owned and managed by a Registered Nurse and her team of experienced mature staff. We aim to recreate the comfort and ambience that you would expect in your own home.
Rooms at Yew Tree Cottage are individually designed, en-suite and arranged on the ground and first floor. We also have a self contained annex to accommodate a couple or individual wishing to maintain independent living but with 24hr support. We also provide day care for up to three people per day and respite care for short term stays. Respite is predominantly but not exclusively for clients who use our day care service. It is a useful route for helping someone adjust to full time care in the future. We are a also a pet friendly care home with award winning gardens for all to enjoy.
