The MFON site not only acts as a resource for supporting your disabled child – it is there to support you too. So you will also find real life stories and guest posts offering a look at relationships, juggling work and caring and maintaining your well-being.
The South East Guide to SEND
The South East Guide to SEND is a guide for Parent Carers of Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) which brings together reliable information on education, health and social care across all nine counties in the South East, including East Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Surrey and Oxfordshire.
It is is a free resource aimed at helping families, carers of children, and adults navigate services, understand how to access support, apply for assessments and plans, and find local services matched to your child’s, young person’s, or adult’s needs. The guide is available in print and online
