Stuart Mobility is an independent family run business based in East Staffordshire.

We provide high quality rise and recline chairs, healthcare seating and bariatric chairs.  Our business is built on the back of the quality craftsmanship provided by British Manufacturers. We supply only the very best from well-known mobility suppliers including Repose, Cosi Chair, Sitting Pretty, Recliners and Primacare.

We supply chairs to people’s homes, nursing and care homes, the NHS, hospices and various independent charities and groups. We can provide a full seating assessment at your home, and all our chairs are delivered and set up as part of the service. So there are no hidden costs – the price you see is the price you pay, and our prices are all displayed throughout our website. Although we do not offer a showroom we can offer a free home consultation where we will bring one or two chairs for you to try in the comfort of your home and these will be based on your needs and requirements that we will ascertain from a telephone call prior to our visit. I had already done a lot of research before deciding on the brand and type of chair I wanted and Stuart Mobility offered a good price and good reviews from satisfied customers. Justina was very helpful and suggested for my height I needed a higher chair which turned out to be perfect. Delivery was quick, efficient helpful and friendly and I got my old chair taken away as well. Delighted with the chair and with the company's level of service.

Stuart mobility changed my life.i have not spend much time downstairs as i could not use my couch as it is far to low for me to sit on.i found this company on the net and purchased a ambassador rise recliner chair. justine was so very helpful on the phone and explained every thing i wanted to know. My chair arrived 5 dats later.A lovely man set it up and took time to explain how it works.i will be forever grateful for making life so much better for me.thank you so much ,,team Stuart mobility,, xx

Stuart came out with some chairs for my 91yr old dad to try out. He was so helpful to dad choosing the right chair for his needs. From ordering to delivery and removal of old chair everything was taken care of for us, even going the extra mile to having complete protective sleeves made for dad's chair. Many thanks for all the help that has been provided by the both of you, dad is so much comfier now . I would highly recommend you call Justina and Stuart for any advice regarding riser recline chairs, I'm sure they'd be happy to help.

Justina Nurse

Co-Director and Seating Assessor I work with Stuart on a day to day basis, mainly in the office, but occasionally on seating assessments too. I am the person that most people will talk to if they phone, email or webchat. I will initially diagnose what customers are after by asking specific questions which helps me decide what chairs Stuart needs to bring for an assessment. I have a vast knowledge of our products and a great working relationship with our suppliers and this allows me to orchestrate the business. I come from a managerial background in the voluntary sector so multi-tasking is second nature. I am also a qualified assessor and trainer with many years of training people in various subjects from all different walks of life. I continue my training and knowledge through various courses and online platforms and keep us up to date by being part of the trade body British Healthcare Trade Association and utilising all their resources as well as all the information and training from our manufacturers. I am very passionate about this sector and would love to see more standards and regulations introduced to ensure that everyone is protected and customers are given the best advice and support with a product at a reasonable cost.

Consulting Occupational Therapist As an Occupational Therapist working in the NHS with the Older Adult population, I see daily the importance of good quality seating and the impact it has on function, comfort, safety, and overall wellbeing. Seating that offers postural support enabling optimal respiratory function, providing safe positioning for eating and drinking, supporting skin integrity and minimising the risk of pressure damage, and supporting engagement in chosen activities. When I was approached by Justina & Stuart to become a consultant OT for the company, I jumped at the chance. As a family business it made sense; I am, after all Stuart’s cousin! Also, we share similar passions, helping people do what they want and need to do, with friendly service and candid communication. Developing a great working relationship is the first step in the process, understanding what the seating is to be used for and performing a detailed assessment allow us to recommend appropriate brands and sizes and getting it right first time. I’m excited to be able to use my skills to support Justina and Stuart in providing great quality seating to people to enable them to experience a better quality of life.
