EMA Patient Transports Managing Director Sam Easy, visited this wonderful care home recently, to meet with Client Liaison Manager Gill Bonham. They discussed how EMA can accentuate the care offered by the care home, with the residents incoming and present, using EMA's care and nursing home transport services. Sam got a lovely tour of the care home, which is outstanding, has superb facilities and brilliant staff! Thank you for the hospitality Gill and all at Ascot Grange.

Having visited Ascot Grange twice now, I have found the building to be very well appointed and impeccably clean and tidy. All the staff I have met greeted me with a warm smile and a 'hello'. They all seem to love working here. More importantly the people who are living here all look really happy, well looked after and have made friendship groups. I wouldn't hesitate to choose this home for a member of my family.

Having visited on several occasions I never cease to be amazed at the happy atmosphere that welcomes you. I spent some time chatting with one of the residents at the recent summer garden party, who I must say is a real character with lots of life stories to tell !. But again amazed by just how happy and involved she is with other residents and the activities team. Having spent time in other providers homes I can only say pop in to Asoct Grange before you make any decisions.

As this review is not allowed to contain any “inappropriate comments, comments about abuse or negligence” I am going to be very limited about what I can actually say about Ascot Grange. This is a real-life experience and review since they wouldn’t publish mine in their website. My father was placed here after being diagnosed with EOD and having lived a life of luxury that he worked hard for we were taken in by the seemingly luxurious appearance. The facilities on entry to the reception are very similar to that of a luxury hotel-coffee and cakes on arrival, a welcoming smile & attractive furnishings. However, it soon becomes apparent that a good care home requires far more than a glittering “front of house”. Quality care requires fully qualified staff, a motivation to truly care for the welfare and safeguarding of residents and a holistic approach to dementia care to ensure that dignity is always upheld whatever the situation. As a family, we can honestly & evidentially prove that we have removed my father from Ascot Grange as a result of the quality of care he received. ”

Ascot Grange is a wonderful home, the care team go out of their way to help. The food really is delicious and there is always so much choice and the activities I have seen are fab!
