Ashley Park Care Home is located in the pretty village of West Clandon, which is near Guildford in Surrey.
Built in 1860, Ashley Park was originally a stunning private home that has been modernised while managing to retain many of the house’s original features – including a Jacobean oak staircase and a unique wood-beamed fireplace.
Ashley Park is surrounded by seven acres of beautiful grounds, which include an apple orchard, a sensory garden and a well-stocked greenhouse.
Meals are freshly-prepared every day by the home’s onsite chef and menus can be tailored to the tastes and preferences of each resident. Residents have the choice of dining in the dining room or in their own room if preferred. An out of hours menu is also available throughout the night which includes sandwiches, fruit and hot and cold drinks.
A varied activity programme aims to find activities to suit all interests and levels of mobility. A painting club, poetry group and calm exercise classes and quizzes are just a few of the activities available. Ashley Park hosts an Open Day and their annual summer fete which are popular events in the village.
