At Bridge Haven we work to create a welcoming atmosphere in which residents enjoy activities, go on outings and make friends with other residents and staff.

At the heart of our home is our Philosophy of Care, the Eden Alternative, where we encourage social interaction, engagement and work towards the eradication of loneliness and boredom.

Our home provides 24-hour care and support for people living with dementia, where our team of qualified and attentive staff focus on the individual needs of the residents.

Bridge Haven provides well equipped, bright en-suite bedrooms to support person centred care, overlooking the gardens that surround the home. The names of the suites follow a floral theme – Primrose and Bluebell.

Facilities at Bridge Haven include the pub known as `The Snug´, for residents to enjoy a drink or two with friends, and a cinema room to catch up on all the latest films or revisit classics.
Gregory’s Tea Room offers a great place to relax and have an afternoon tea with family and friends, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Residents can also join in with a daily programme of activities throughout the home. The minibus also gives residents the opportunity for day trips out to one of the many local places of interest.

Bridge Haven provides a safe, warm and friendly environment with support for daily tasks such as washing, cleaning and laundry.

Bridge Haven delivers a respite care service allowing a crucial break for carers, for just a few hours or for several weeks. This offers family carers the chance to go on holiday or simply have some well-earned time off.
