Lucerne House is a purpose-built nursing home; surrounded by beautiful grounds and situated in the pretty village of Alphington on the outskirts of Exeter.
We provide first class 24-hour nursing care, alongside expert care for people with dementia in our dedicated Memory Lane Community. At Lucerne House we also offer personalised care and support for people with multiple sclerosis or a physical disability. Spread over three distinct units Lucerne is the perfect care environment. There is also a quiet room where family can stay overnight when support is needed.
Moreover, the care team have worked with Dementia Care Matters to improve the quality of life of our residents.
Furthermore, at Lucerne House our person-centred activity programme has been tailored to suit the residents living in our home. Our residents are able to take part in existing hobbies and new tasks. With music groups, pub outings, cooking, gardening, one to one time, entertainers, quiz’s, bingo and more, there is never a shortage of things to do. We also have external providers who visit the home. We have Rachel Sherring who provides Yoga Sessions, Lorrain Christopher who provides weekly hair appointments in our on site salon, Sharon Rees who provides massage therapy sessions and regular Church Services which do include a monthly Holy Communion.
Additionally, all of our food is made from the best fresh produce and cooked to the highest quality. A great deal of care is taken to accommodate all dietary requirements, and our meals are always prepared with the likes and dislikes of residents taken into consideration.
