Redmount Residential Home is located on the edge of Buckfastleigh; a quiet village in the heart of the southwest Devon countryside.

It provides long and short-term care, respite and day care to the elderly and people living with milder forms of dementia. Redmount Residential Home occupies an enviable rural location. The home is nestled just half a mile from the historic Buckfastleigh Abbey. It is also only a few minutes’ drive from the A38. It has a raised sun deck and garden area with a pond.

Which can be enjoyed during all of the seasons. Life at Redmount is enriching and engaging, although there are opportunities for quiet relaxation, too. We also have a wide variety of activities planned on a daily and weekly basis. These include music and movement, singing, quizzes, reminiscence and days out. Residents also enjoy watching wildlife from our deck and conservatory. As well as visiting entertainers help to keep the mood light and interesting. We endeavour to provide high quality care and support in a warm, nurturing environment, where privacy, independence and happiness are championed.

A really nice residential home and it truly is a five star care given by all the staff. I just cannot praise the home enough. What’s amazing about this place is the entertainment, one day it is a string quartet , next, singalongs, painting, poem reading the list goes on. Redmount is very friendly l enjoyed spending time there with my wife Lizzie who has sadly passed on, who made lots of friends there. Praise to the chef ,the lady.who collects the washing, praise to the cleaning staff, and everyone else. Yes a five star home without a doubt.
