Personalised care is provided to suit your loved one’s needs including; specialised dementia and residential care, as well as palliative, respite and day care.

A detailed assessment, designed to understand your loved one’s day to day care and emotional needs including their past history, together with their likes and dislikes enables staff to build a picture of them as a person, so from the moment they move in they feel right at home.

This is all underpinned by fully trained, dedicated carers who value the individual’s needs, treating the residents with dignity, respect and compassion whilst encouraging their independence, all the while supported in their day to day needs.

A building in itself does not make a home, it’s our people that do. The Burlington is underpinned by our dedicated team who provide care tailored to individual needs, with the emphasis on making enduring friendships, enjoying wholesome, nutritious, home cooked food and most of all the enjoying life to the full, together.

Our Care

The Burlington provides the older generation with the highest standard of care and living, where care and support is tailored to the resident’s every need.

We provide different levels of care, tailored to individual needs. By undertaking a detailed assessment, designed to enable us to understand your loved ones’ day to day needs, likes and dislikes, enabling us to build a picture of them as a person, so that from the moment they move in they feel right at home.

We understand how important a decision it is choosing the right care home and aim to make it as seamless as possible, giving the whole family peace of mind.

Residential Care

When your loved one moves in, they will be joining a like-minded community where companionship is always on offer and where new experiences await.

We provide the highest standards of care with personalised care plans to ensure that we offer the right treatment and support to all of our residents in a safe environment, 24 hours a day.

Our homes have a range of activities and events for everyone to enjoy, with social and mental wellbeing of the highest importance. Your loved one will be part of a community within the home, making enduring friendships and living life to the fullest.

Dementia Care

We create links between past memories and the routine of daily living in the present, so our residents living with dementia are able to enjoy a meaningful continuity of life.

At The Burlington, our ‘Nostalgia Community’ is our dedicated dementia residence, where your loved one will be safe and well cared for by our specialist dementia trained team in an environment dedicated to suit their specific needs.

We support our residents by reminiscing through old photographs and memories to build a rapport and really understand their life experiences. People living with dementia are likely to interpret what is happening around them as being a situation from the past. This may appear to some that the resident is confusing the past with the present; we, on the other hand, see this as a natural way the person living with dementia can live happily in the present through their past.

If you’re going away on holiday or just need a break, you can entrust your loved one in our care, safe in the knowledge that they are well cared for at The Burlington.

We also offer short stay care if your loved one is recovering from an illness or surgical procedure, giving them a chance to recover fully in a welcoming, comfortable and home from home environment.

The service we offer to all of our residents is never compromised. As a respite or day care resident, your loved one will be fully integrated in to our community and be part of the family, where they are able to participate in the wide range of activities and outings on offer. “Spent the day at the care home for the first time today for my husband’s grandmother’s birthday and was blown away by the overall experience. It didn’t feel like a care home at all. His Grandma seemed so well looked after and as visitors, you are made to feel very welcome. The cleanliness was faultless and the staff seemed to enjoy being there. They were pleased to talk to all of the visiting family members whilst being very attentive to my husband’s grandmother’s needs.” Elizabeth W. Relative of Resident

“Wonderful carers, feel very happy and contented, feel very relaxed and welcome. Food is outstanding, fresh and delicious. Completely genuine staff and the quality and standard of which I have never encountered. Totally incredible experience, feel very very lucky.” Review from S L. Granddaughter of Resident
